Liam Ferguson BArch University of Dundee BSc University of Dundee Associate of the Royal Institute of Architects in Scotland Architect's Registration Board UK Liam is a graduate of the school of architecture at the University of Dundee in Scotland. He practised in the United Kingdom for over 12 yrs with the acclaimed Sir Basil Spence partnership and other major practices. Relocating to Hong Kong in 1994, he joined James Gibson's design team at Denton Corker Marshall. During those early years at DCM, Liam established himself as a key member of the design team and was responsible for the design and design development of many of the practices key projects in the region. In 2003, with the renaissance of the Hong Kong practice in its restructuring and expansion as dcmstudios, Liam was appointed as a director of the practice. Now, together with James he leads the design process in the studio. Liam's particular design methodology is uniquely consistent with the studio objectives to maintain the highest levels of innovation and international recognition of the practice within the design profession.
